OUR MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED

QUESTIONS

IS YOUR ROOF IN NEED OF LOVE?

Rest assured, we will take care of everything. All we need is space when we arrive. We need access to your driveway and street level frontage for our equipment. We also have a portable toilet. While our team will take care of protecting the items on the ground, we recommend removing fragile items (glass tables, BBQs, etc.) as a precaution. Last but not least, if you are able to get your lawn done, it will make it all the more efficient for our pick-up team to use the nail magnet.

Given the new reality of remote working, having someone knocking on your head for days on end would be disruptive, so we’ve modified our method to ensure fast, efficient work. In most cases, a complete roof can be completed in just ONE day. The larger the roof, the larger our team. Our team arrives on site around 7 a.m., settles in and starts stripping the roof. The materials are supplied shortly afterwards, and the installation process starts. By the end of the day, you will have a brand-new roof and a clean yard to admire it from.

The work date is confirmed in advance and it’s up to you if you’d like to attend, but it’s not necessary. Our crews are experienced and are under the supervision of the owners. Upon request, we can even take and provide photos at specific stages of the work. When the work is complete, we inspect it with you to answer any final questions and ensure your 100% satisfaction. If you’re not at home, we’ll make an appointment for this final step.

Yes, it is quite normal to find granules in your gutters and downspouts throughout the first year. This happens when, during the shingle manufacturing process, granules are applied to completely cover the leaf, often to an excess. Some of this excess is packed into the bundles with the shingles and/or the excess is not firmly embedded and creates this loss. There’s no need to worry about the impact as long as the shingle sheets are not stripped.

Certain terms and conditions must be respected, but in general, you will benefit from two warranties: the labor warranty with our company for 10 years, and the materials warranty with the manufacturer for manufacturing defects, a limited 40-year warranty (15 years for 100% of the purchase price, prorated thereafter).

As stipulated in Quebec’s law on legal warranties, the warranty is attached to the property. Therefore, the material and workmanship warranty is valid for the home address and not in the name of the customer who commissioned the work. In the event that you sell the house with a warranty still active, the new owners will be covered since it is the house that we guarantee.

** A word of advice: if you’re thinking of selling your property and you know that your roof could be a cause for negotiation, we suggest you do the work beforehand. In addition to adding value to your home aesthetically, your future buyers won’t have to worry about this item (which can be a burden for some), and above all won’t be able to make unreasonable price reductions for future roof repairs.

You can contact our company via our website, e-mail or telephone. We will contact you by phone within 24 hours to set up an appointment based on your availability. This meeting is designed to be as transparent and at your service as possible, so we’ll be able to assess your needs and give you a price based on a number of criteria, including surface area, building type and options. We’ll take the time to answer all your questions and more. And last but not least, our quotes are free!
